*Fiercely Fit Beginner level Mat Pilates Class with Amy Starting Monday 4th September, 4.30pm -5.30pm The sessions will offer a full body workout focussing on strength, mobility and flexibility. People that practice Pilates regularly enjoy a variety of benefits including: Improving posture Pilates can help to improve your posture by focusing on engaging the deep core muscles - our abdominals, back and pelvic floor. As well as helping with spinal, scapular and joint flexibility. Helps with low back pain There are many causes to low back pain and medical advice should always be sought in the first instance. However Pilates can help with some causes of lower back pain, by focussing on strengthening your core stabilising muscles as well as developing your body control, strength and flexibility. Helps with tension in your shoulders, back and legs Poor posture can be caused by slouching, hunching over devices, stress or structural imbalances. Pilates can help improve your posture, which in turn can prevent or relieve muscle tension that builds up during our day to day activities. £56 for an 8 week block or £7.50 PAYG bookable via the FF website.
